Le Citizen - Paris

Situated on the popular and trendy Canal St Martin Le Citizen is an intimate and stylish eco-friendly boutique hotel. Its 12 rooms, spread over 6 floors of a former townhouse, all overlook the water and are light and cleverly designed by designer Christophe Delcourt to make use of the space. Varying from 15 to 50 metres squared in size, each room comes equipped with an iPad, Deluxe Omnisens Paris bath amenities and flat-screen TV. In keeping with the hotel’s personal level of service and intimate environment, guests enter the hotel by ringing a doorbell and breakfast and in-room treats from the minibar are included in the nightly rate. On the ground floor a light and wood-filled dining area is an ideal spot for breakfast, or perhaps a special private dinner or party.  The hotel can also be rented entirely for private use. Edgar Hotel - Paris

Overlooking a small tree-lined square in a charming area of Paris, Edgar Hotel is a stylish and inviting family-run hotel. The building, a former clothing workshop, has been transformed by Owner Guillaume Rouget-Luchaire and his friends and family, including artists, photographers and stylists, who have individually decorated each of the 13 rooms. The result is a unique mix of spaces, from a ‘La Chambre Perchée’ (the ‘tree house room’) with 90 illustrations of tree houses covering the walls, to a ‘Lala Salama’ room paying homage to the Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya. Hôtel du Temps - Paris

Hôtel du Temps is an elegant and fashionable boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement of Montmarte. Owner Yoan Marciano teamed up with architect and set designer Laura Leonard and designer Alix Thomsen  to create a fresh and playful interior. The 22 rooms and one penthouse suite feature bespoke furniture, tropical and exotic fabrics and wallpaper, and industrial-style lighting. The reception area with its bar and small seating area is the place for all occasions: from breakfast to an evening cocktail. Barman Antoine serves up a range of whiskey and rum-based cocktails, after which guests are invited to dance in ‘La Cave’, a basement area ideal for small private events or parties. Enfants Rouges - Paris

This privately owned 750 sqft apartment is located on the third floor of a 19th century building in Northern Marais, a few steps away from the charming Square du Temple and two blocks away from the famous rue de Bretagne and its amazing open air market. The apartment was fully refurbished in 2008 with careful attention given to restoring its original features. It is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern comfortable furniture, carefully chosen French antiques and a large dining table.  It can sleep up to six people, with two Queen size beds and a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The Loft - Barcelona

This loft is a remarkable conversion of the former coach yard of Manuel Sayrach i Carrera’s private family residence (1926), one of Barcelona’s last modernist buildings. Located on a hip street of the city, Enrique Granados, the huge 150m2 space features two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (one en-suite), and a cleverly-designed kitchen and living area. The interior is imaginatively furnished, with Starck chairs, yacht kitchen and a luxurious Coco-Mat bed. There is also a private terrace off the living room mezzanine. Hotel The Exchange - Amsterdam

The My Plus One Studio - Berlin

The studio was designed by two young Berlin-based architects, Paola Bagna (Spamroom) and JP Coss (CossA). The 30 sqm studio was completely re-designed to reflect the emerging, creative, and alternative neighbourhood of Neukölln where it's located. The result is a stylish yet cosy studio with quirky design features such as lights made out of old copper piping and a kitchen comprised of salvaged wooden floorboards.
